Growing up with a father from the Middle East, I had the privilege of being around aunts and tata’s (grandmothers) that cooked with authentic Arabic love.  Hummus was the staple of our diet, and continues to be in my own family.  I think this recipe would make my Tata proud.

Chick peas,  garlic, lemon juice and bit of sea salt are pureed together with a home-made organic sesame paste (tahini).

Best served with a drizzle of extra -virgin olive oil and sprinkle of paprika
